CHARACTERS

Kagome Higurashi
Age: 15

Description:
Kagome Higurashi lives in modern Tokyo in the year 1997.She lives in a Japanese temple. It just so happens that this temple is a means of transportation to feudal Japan! On her 15th birthday, Kagome is deliberately transported to the "sengoku jidai" (feudal era) by a centipede demon. She is the reincarnation of an ancient miko(priestess)by the name of Kikyo.There she meets the hanyou(half demon) Inuyasha who was sealed to a tree for 50 years. Later on, the jewel shatters when Kagome hits a bird demon with her arrow.Now Inuyasha and Kagome must team up to uncover the shards before someone evil gets a hold of them all....then they will be in real trouble!


Inuyasha
Age: 17-18

Description:
Inuyasha, the main star of the anime is half demon, half human. He possesses a human heart but strong demon like claws and strength. 50 years ago, he tried to obtain the Shikon stone, which can turn him into a full demon, but was stopped by the maiden who protects the stone: Kikyo.








Kikyo
Age: 18 (the age when she died)

Description:
Kikyo is a powerful maiden who was assigned tasks to guard the shikon stone 50 years ago. She fell in love with Inuyasha and wanted to use the Shikon stone to turn Inuyasha into a full human. Unfortunately, she fell into Naraku's trap and died.


Miroku
Age:19

Description:
A monk who likes women very much. Miroku is known as the indecent monk with an air hole in his hand, Naraku gave that hole to Miroku's grandfather, who is also indecent as well. This airhole will eventually suck Miroku in and make him disappear. Miroku wants to find Naraku, defeat him, in order to save himself and his future generations.






Sango
Age: 16

Description:
Sango is a professional Youkai Extreminator. Her whole family (all except her brother) and the people in her village were killed by Naraku. She joined the Inuyasha team to kill Naraku and avenge for her family and village neighbors.








Shippo
Age: 8

Description:
Shippo is a young fox demon. His father was killed by the Thunder Brothers. In order to get revenge, Shippo tried to steal shikon stone shards from Kagome and Inuyasha, but since he's relatively weak, he got caught easily. Ever after, he's been traveling with the Inuyasha team, to defeat Naraku.




Kirara

Description:
Kirara is a neko youkai (cat demon), and a companion to Sango.












Naraku
Age: 50

Description:
Naraku is not a full demon, his original body was built on a man saved by Kikyo. Because of this, Naraku's being try every way to get the Shikon stone, which can transform him into a full demon. Naraku is Inuyasha and his gang's greatest enemy in the series and is also extremely powerful. Since Naraku is consisted of numerous demons, he give birth to new demons later in the series.
