Book Description:
Alice Seno seems like a normal girl in high school. She's a bit shy, she's got a crush on a boy named Kyou, and she's got an older sister who is more popular than she is...pretty normal stuff, until Alice has an encounter with a mysterious and magical rabbit girl that changes the course of her life, and Alice is introduced to the sublime power of the Lotis Words.

CHARACTERS

Arisu (or "Alice")

Alice is a very meek girl. Her crush is Kyou and she needs a lot of support from the other characters (especially Nyozeka) in the beginning.

Mayura

Alice's big sister (by one year). She's the family's favorite and very good at everything. This caused Alice to develop a huge self-esteem problem (probably why she can't speak her mind.) Mayura does have, however, a dark side to her which emerges when she becomes jealous of her little sister.

Wakamiya Kyou

He is the love-interest. He too is pretty meek and easygoing, and doesn't want to hurt anyone. Kyou does Kyuudo (Japanese archery) and is popular since he's so handsome.

Nyozeka

A magical half-rabbit creature who Alice rescued. She helps lead Alice and the other Lotis Masters.

Furei Willhauzen

From Norway, he is also a Lotis Master who was sent to help Alice and Kyou. He is more advanced as a Lotis Master and is also very intelligent and a FUNNY guy. Of course, he is serious at times, but mostly he likes to joke around and tease Alice (saying things like she's his wife). He did have a past love, but it ended in tragedy.

Christopher William Orsen Andrew Roland

A Lotis Master and the heir to the extremely wealthy Roland estate in England. An extremely intelligent and serious young teen, but when something sweet is brought before him, he reverts to toddlerhood… or rather, his personality seems to change completely. He has a pet crow, which he named after his dead mother, who also helps out from time to time.

Pai Meiling

A Lotis Master from China. She's cute and a bit bubbley and also a sort of a star in China (or at least the beginning of one). She likes to spend her time outdoors, playing sports (when she's not too busy fighting badguys, that is…). She's very strong willed, so she has several female friends, but guys are intimidated by her, so she's having a difficult time getting a boyfriend.

Billy McDowel

An African-American postman. He looks tough and uses rough language because he grew up downtown, but in reality, he's just an ordinary postman and a Lotis Master. He likes music and plays the sax. He also has a fiancee back in America.

Eric

Furei's mentor from Norway. He also somewhat is of a father/brother figure.
